Its me Ally! Let me start by saying how happy I am that you're here! I hate talking about myself so let's keep this short and sweet. I like photography (obviously) That's about all there is to Ally. I'm simple, easy going, very just go with it.

the story of a photographer

I'm from a small quaint town in Northern Idaho. Being in such a close knit community all my life has really taught me the importance of having intimate moments captured to look back on with your friends and loved ones in 20-30 years. You know, the ones that spark the memory of that day Granddad taught you how to fish, the day you said yes to the rest of your life with that special person, the moments that remind you of a time your little ones were actually little.

Capturing everything that makes those moments special to you is what I am here for, so let's do this thing.

my goals

I LOVE those candid moments most may miss by just looking at you. My goal in every session is to capture you. What makes you smile, laugh, want to take your clothes off and dance in the rain. That was a joke please don't get naked during a session...or do... but please talk to me before doing so. Capturing the feeling of you at your truest self is what I am here for! Let's find that moment together.

When the opportunity presented itself I made the jump to move to MN the fall after graduation. While I enjoyed it, I felt like I was missing a piece of myself in Idaho. You can read more about it in my blog.

I have a dog named Beans

Beans is special. She has extreme separation anxiety and knows how to chill- very well. While she doesn't know the definition of walk she does take "rest day" to a deep personal level. She makes everyone around her laugh and most of all she's a mamas girl.

I can always find a way to make it weird. Usually this works out in my favor and shifts the awkward from the situation to me. I"ll take what I can get. Let's laugh together or you can laugh at me whatever comes first.
